VANCOUVER, BC—(Marketwired – June 29, 2016) – Almaden Minerals Ltd. (“Almaden” or the “Company”) (TSX: AMM) (NYSE MKT: AAU) is pleased to provide the results of its Annual General Meeting held on June 29, 2016.

All of the matters submitted to the shareholders for approval as set out in the Company's Notice of Meeting and Information Circular were approved by the requisite majority of votes cast at the AGM.

SAN DIEGO, CA—(Marketwired – June 29, 2016) – On Wednesday, June 29, at 6:00 p.m. PT, BLVD Treatment Centers commemorated the grand opening of their new Hillcrest facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3785 West 6th Avenue, Suite #200, San Diego, CA 92103. The California–based treatment brand has expanded their services to confront the city's growing addiction problem.

CEO Stampp Corbin and San Diego community leaders such as Mayor Kevin Faulconer, former Mayor Jerry Sanders, Mr. Chris Ward, and Susan Jester were in attendance to support the new facility. A red ribbon was used to promote awareness of substance abuse.
